NanoString technology seminar at Huddinge Campus
DATE: Friday 8th April. 2022
VENUE: ANA Futura Insulinet Plan 7 (ANA Futura, plan 7, Flemingsberg)
Historically, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence have been used to assess the localization of proteins and nucleic acids in tissue specimens. However, these techniques are of limited utility due to restricted dynamic range, difficult quantification, and limited multiplexing capability.
NanoString’s GeoMx™ Digital Spatial Profiling (DSP) is a novel highly multiplexed technology to characterize the distribution and abundance of proteins and mRNAs from spatially discrete regions of interest (ROI) in tissue samples.
AGENDA
10:00 – 11:30 Hear how the nCounter® platform provides a simple and cost-effective solution for multiplex analysis of up to 800 RNA targets without any amplification steps, and how spatial GeoMx® Digital Spatial Profiler enables highly multiplexed spatial profiling of RNA and protein targets in various sample types, including challenging Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) tissue.
11:30 – 12:00 Discussion with coffee and sandwiches
