Women in Spatial: Pioneering the New Frontier in Spatial Biology

  • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm (PDT)
Speakers: Jodi Carter, M.D., Ph.D., Associate Professor at Mayo Clinic Rochester; Jen Wargo, M.D., M.M.Sc., R. Lee Clark Professor and Director at University of Texas; Hung-Ming Lam, Ph.D., Associate Professor at University of Washington; Hargita Kaplan, Advanced Tissue Analytics at Atreca; Sarah Warren, Ph.D., Senior Director of Translational Science at NanoString

This event will highlight several of the innovative women who have led the way in spatial biology research.

How did they get to where they are now?
What is their research focus?
What could be done to promote gender equality in STEM?

This special event will open with a panel discussion around women in science and then dive into the panelists’ individual research using NanoString’s GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler.

The GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler combines the best of imaging and molecular analysis by measuring whole transcriptomes and digital protein profiles in user-selected cells of interest.
