GeoMx Whole Transcriptome Atlas Grant: UPENN/CHOP
THIS GRANT PROGRAM IS NOW CLOSED
Full Transcriptome Spatial RNA Analysis
The University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia researchers are invited to apply for a chance to win two slides of GeoMx® Whole Transcriptome Atlas (WTA) probes (mouse, human or canine) and an Illumina flow cell NextSeq 2000 P2 kit.
The GeoMx Human Whole Transcriptome Atlas (GeoMx Hu WTA) provides an unbiased view of 18,000+ protein-coding genes. The GeoMx Hu WTA unlocks new pathways for exploration by researchers and enables RNA profiling in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, developmental biology, and other diverse fields. The GeoMx Hu WTA provides robust and sensitive performance on FFPE or fresh frozen samples.
Mouse models serve a critical role in understanding developmental biology, disease onset, progression, and treatment. Tissue heterogeneity, however, confounds the results from many mouse transcriptome studies based on bulk or single-cell RNA-seq data. Using the GeoMx Mouse Whole Transcriptome Assay, you can apply spatial transcriptomics to reveal the tissue architecture and underlying function in genetically modified mouse models.
Two winners will receive:
- Two slides worth of the WTA probes: mouse, human or canine (WTA probes and seq code pack to run 24+ ROI)
- Project and data analysis consultation
- Commercially available morphology kit
- NanoString reagents needed to run your project
- Illumina flow cell NextSeq 2000 P2 kit
Application Guidelines:
- Grant Deadline: February 10, 2023
- 500-word limit
- Winners will be notified by February 24, 2023
- Projects that include simple and effective region of interest selection strategies with high impact on applicant’s research goals will be chosen as winners.
Apply for the grant by completing this form.
