Propath: An nCounter® Grant Open to all Pharma, Biotech and Academic Research Applicants

Masthead

Grant Closes Friday, March 11

NanoString is Partnering with Propath UK a Specialist in Molecular Pathology to Perform the Sample Analysis in the ADC Panel Grant

Streamline your ADC sample analysis by combining information from multiple assays into a single NanoString gene expression panel

Save time and reduce the number of assays required to generate biologically-relevant data!

The nCounter® Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) panel was designed for various sample types that are collected across the full drug development spectrum from process development to clinical trial sample analysis. NanoString’s new ADC Panel is a unique research tool specifically designed to enable the success of ADC development through each stage of these processes.  Measure six distinct stages of ADC delivery and response in a single gene expression panel, enabling you to gauge the success of chemotherapy and combination immunotherapy drug development programs.

Answer all the questions you really want to address in ADC R&D, preclinical, and clinical studies

  • Leverage the wide range of cancer antigen expression targets
    • ~100 pan-cancer antigen targets for a wide range of applicability
  • Simultaneously evaluate ADC cell absorption & payload release
    • endocytosis & related lysosomal pathways analysis
    • antibody-linker-payload separation analysis
  • Evaluate drug MOA & toxicity
    • intentional effects of cytotoxic agents
    • cellular stress pathways
    • bystander effects
  • Perform a deep dive into immune synergies

Participation in the Propath NanoString grant programme is open to all those who meet these eligibility requirements. Entrants must be professionally engaged in laboratory-based scientific research, have attained at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (entrants must, in any event, be at least 18 years of age), and be able to provide the samples within 45-60 days of notification. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives and independent contractors of the Sponsors, its subsidiaries or affiliated companies, together with their immediate family members and members of the same households (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate. Also ineligible are any persons for whom it would be illegal to participate in or win the scientific challenge, or with or to whom it would be illegal for the Sponsors to interact or award the Grant as contemplated herein. No purchase is necessary. The Grant is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited or where registration, bonding or language translation is required.

HOW TO ENTER

The application period begins on February 1 at 12:01 a.m. (BST) and ends on March 11, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (BST); entries must be submitted during that period to be eligible. To enter, participants must submit a short abstract application. The application must include: (1) the participant’s full name, email address, telephone number and any other contact information required by the Sponsors; (2) the name of the participant’s institution or company; (3) a descriptive title for the proposed project; (4) an abstract proposal (written in 500 words or less) demonstrating how NanoString nCounter will aid in interrogating your samples and how that will fuel discovery in your field of research; and 5) include statement on the availability of RNA samples for use in your project (for example, please state whether the samples are in your possession/accessible from collaborators/biobanks/repositories, and whether appropriate consent/IRB approval is in place). By entering, the participant gives permission to the Sponsors to contact the participant regarding the Sponsors’ products and services, whether or not the participant is chosen as the winner. Each participant shall be entitled to make one (1) entry into the Grant only. In the event that the Sponsors deem a participant to have made multiple applications to enter or to have acted in bad faith with respect to the Grant, the participant shall be excluded from the Grant and consequently ineligible to win the grant, as defined below.

SELECTION OF WINNERS AND NOTIFICATION

Two winners will be selected from all qualified applications by a panel of the Sponsors’ scientists, who will choose the application that, in the sole discretion of the Sponsors, best makes use of the grant to demonstrate the power of NanoString’s nCounter Technology.

Selection Criteria will include but are not limited to: 1) novelty and impact on research field of interest; 2) sample availability; 3) well-defined and publishable end points; and 4) ability for RNA samples to be provided to Propath by April 1, 2022.

The decision of this panel will be final and binding and shall not be subject to review or appeal by any participant or by any third party. The selected winners will be attempted to be notified by email within approximately five (5) business days after selection. If the selected winner has not responded to email inquiries within three (3) days, the Sponsors will attempt to contact the winner by telephone. If the winner cannot be reached by telephone within forty-eight (48) hours of first telephone attempt to notify such winner, the grant may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected, based on the criteria set forth above, at the Sponsors’ discretion. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

GRANT DESCRIPTION & CONSUMER DISCLOSURE
