Dr. Margaret Hoang is the Director of Research in R&D at Nanostring Technologies. Margaret and her team developed the high-plex spatially resolved transcriptomic assays on Nanostring’s spatial platforms, the GeoMx® Digital Spatial Profiler and CosMx™ Spatial Molecular Imager. She earned her B.S. in Biochemistry from University of Washington and Ph.D. in Biology from Johns Hopkins University. Margaret has deep expertise in the field of next-generation sequencing, cancer genomics, and spatial biology, and has 10+ years of experience in leading-edge technology development to improve the human condition.
